The FREE Open-Access “Meducation” known as FOAMed is a collection of educational resources that started from collaborative and interactive open access medical education resources being distributed over the internet from a variety of clinicians including pharmacologists, toxicologists, emergency medicine physicians, hospitalists, critical care specialists, PAs and NPs. It includes blogs, podcasts, tweets, Google hangouts, online videos, text documents, photographs, Facebook groups, and more. FOAMed offers a vast number of resources, which can be a bit overwhelming, so AAENP went through all the resources available to make sure there was high quality peer reviewed resources that the Emergency Nurse Practitioner may find helpful in their practice.
